We are proud to offer multiple services and experiences to you and/or your team. Aboriginal-guided experiences, workshops and artwork are a conduit into the world’s oldest continuous living culture. Learn how to create Aboriginal arts and crafts, listen to us retell not only our stories, but our grandparents’ stories and how they moved through life during and after the Stolen Generation. TEAM BUILDING ABORIGINAL ART WORKSHOP
Let us work together with your team to design and paint your very own First Nations artwork. Through discussion and engagement your team will work together to create a piece using First Nations symbolism and techniques.
Giving a part of yourself to create a piece with strong meaning and values is a fantastic way to clear your head, build relationships amongst a team and of course gain new knowledge and experiences.
These workshops cater to all ages, any group size and can be split into single sessions, half day, full day, or over multiple days.
CULTURAL AWARENESS/ EDUCATION SESSION
Our experiences as young Aboriginal men growing up both around culture and learning to develop our cultural identity in an urban area like Brisbane have helped us develop a unique outlook on life and what it means to be proud Aboriginal men and the importance that culture plays to our identity, mental health and all other aspects of life. This session sees us open up about our struggles through life, trauma passed onto us from the displacement and events of The Stolen Generation. where we discuss our stories as young Aboriginal men to help create a safe place for you to engage with us, ask us difficult questions regarding our culture, stereotypes, media portrayal and anything in between. We can tailor this session to focus on different topics including art, spirituality or any relevant topics at the time.
COMISSIONED ARTWORK
First Nations artwork can be a great addition to any space, adding a statement piece with vibrant colours and strong messaging throughout is enough to catch any eye and create engaging conversation. We communicate with our customer to get an understanding of your story and what you would like us to represent within the artwork.
The artwork is yours to hang proudly in any space or perhaps digitize and include throughout your business letterhead, business cards or banners etc. Helping you through the entire process is our promise with several different options to cater to all projects. Select from one of our artists and their previous works as a reference and guide for your new custom artwork, sit back and let us work our magic!
INDOOR AND OUTDOOR MURALS
Nothing makes a statement quite like a beautiful, large mural. We take you through a seamless process understanding your needs and catering to any medium or size to complete a meaningful piece large enough to brighten any space.
We are more than happy to involve members of your community through this process to ensure the artwork is inclusive and engaging for all.
JERSEY DESIGN, ARTEFACTS, MISCELLANEOUS
Ngalin Ayeye has a proud history of providing beautiful jersey designs for multiple AFL, Touch Football, Football and Basketball clubs across SEQ. We ensure our designs are respectful of your specific community and honor the area both in traditional aspects and contemporary. We also have a great relationship with both Tribal Sport and Veto, both established sport clothing brands in Australia and internationally.
Both Ambrose and Matt also have experience in crafting Yidaki/ didgeridoos and clapsticks available for public purchase.
